five lovely “Fuwa” dolls — and the stamps of the Year of the Rooster (Dingyou Year in lunar calendar). It was learned that Han Meilin had created the Painting of 100 Roosters at one go as early as in 1980, which was an important exploration of him in art form, color, and shaping. He said that the new Painting of 100 Roosters was not only his continuation of artistic exploration but also a carrier of his personal wish, that was, earnestly wishing auspiciousness for everything of Chinese people in the Dingyou Year.

Apart from Han Meilin’s works, the pebble paintings, paper-cuts, and clay works of teachers and students from Dongtang Primary School, Tangli Primary School, and Hangchou Primary School of Yiwu will be exhibited at the same time. Interested readers may go to the Yiwu Museum to have a look.
